This group meets six times in rotating homes of mentors, who nurture women in God's Word to love their husbands, love their children, and practice submission, hospitality, kindness and purity. Our MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) group for moms (pregnancy through kindergarten) is a place for friendship, community, support, faith and growth. Previous study topics have included: change, community, the Sabbath, Godly leadership, racial inequality, Heaven, gossip, angels and demons, wrestling with God, Bible translations, comparative religion, church/state, and mercy. Open discussion and questions from participants are actively encouraged. The study focuses on exploring how our foundation in Christ transforms who we are, and how we live our lives. During this study, we'll explore ten questions to help navigate God's Word with clarity and confidence.įOCUS: Foundation Bible Class gets its name from the truth that Christ is our foundation in all things. The Bible is the very Word of God and directs us toward life everlasting with Christ.

To launch the new year, our Foundation Bible study will begin a series based on the book "Ten Questions to Ask Every Time You Read the Bible." Sometimes the Bible might feel intimidating because it can be both a history book and an encyclopedia referencing the cultures of Biblical times, while answering questions about faith, life, and wisdom.
