Our MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) group for moms (pregnancy through kindergarten) is a place for friendship, community, support, faith and growth. Previous study topics have included: change, community, the Sabbath, Godly leadership, racial inequality, Heaven, gossip, angels and demons, wrestling with God, Bible translations, comparative religion, church/state, and mercy. To launch the new year, our Foundation Bible study will begin a series based on the book "Ten Questions to Ask Every Time You Read the Bible." Sometimes the Bible might feel intimidating because it can be both a history book and an encyclopedia referencing the cultures of Biblical times, while answering questions about faith, life, and wisdom.
